As a platform for knowledge sharing, this programme stimulates solutions and innovative ideas collaboratively formulated among participant European universities concerning the curriculum on green-management and sustainable technologies across all engineering disciplines such as social & environmental management, green-design, life cycle analysis, lean to green manufacturing, reverse logistic, waste management, green-supply chain, green-chemistry, sustainability in food productions for farm to fork, production of biogas from renewable sources, energy efficiency.

This programme is planned for undergraduate students having prerequisites in one of the approached domains (industrial, mechanical, civil, electric engineering, chemistry) in the partner universities.

Conference programme themes are covered in the form of lectures, hands-on projects to be solved in small groups, conferences and industrial site visits. It takes place over two weeks in the IUT (Technological University Institute) of Béthune, France, from May 27 till June 9, 2012.

An assessment of the knowledge-gain of the students allows to validate the training for giving 8 ECTS credits.

The network of partner professors allows students from different educational backgrounds and culture to share experiences.
